With the introduction of genetics, you can control your Sims over a lifetime and pass their Sims� DNA down from one generation to the next. The Sims evolve by genetically passing on physical and personality traits. Create and play your own virtual sitcom by choosing one of five different aspirations � popularity, fortune, family, knowledge, and romance. These aspirations in life cause your sims to have wants and fears. Will you give them a long, successful existence or leave their life in shambles?

Cheats & Hints - (rtf file) - this is, I believe, a comprehensive list of all the cheats and hints for the game. It's very long.
cheats.txt - a much shorter list of commonly-used cheats, which may be duplicated in the RTF file.
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS AND SERIALS.txt - this came with the torrent. It includes a link to the torrent file and some details about the torrent. The torrent also included all the expansion packs for the game available at the time, which I did not download, so includes instructions for installing them in the right order, as well as a serial number for each.
Sims2.OFB.1.3.NoDVD&NoCPU.dmg - this is a No-DVD and a No-CPU crack (not sure what the no-CPU bit does), courtesy of The Blade.
The Sims 2 OSX.toast - this is the main installer file. Mount this with Toast or the Finder and open the installer file to begin installing the game.
The.Sims.2.Rev.E Patch.dmg - this is the Rev. E patch for The Sims 2, released by EA Games. You should probably apply this before applying any cracks.
The.Sims.2.v1.0E.UB.Cura - this is a crack for the Rev. E version of the game, courtesy of The Blade. Apply this after applying the Rev. E patch from EA.
